NOB-Suryapet news: As part of the ‘Arrive Alive’ road safety awareness programs, Suryapet town police, along with the traffic police, conducted an awareness program on 18.01.2026 at the new bus stand.  Speaking at the event, Town CI Venkataiah addressed the motorists, stating that driving under the influence of alcohol is dangerous and a crime. He warned that jail sentences are inevitable. He pointed out that driving under the influence of alcohol also puts the lives of others at risk. He urged everyone to follow the rules and police instructions. Traffic SI Sairam stated that they are conducting daily checks for drunk driving in the town center and registering cases.
