NOB- Monga news: An encounter took place between the police and two criminals in Monga. Both were admitted to Monga Civil Hospital for treatment. According to the information, two accused named in the murder case of Shiv Sena leader on March 13th 2025 in Monga were caught by Monga police from Himachal two days ago. Both the accused were identified as Arun Handa and Sikandar Singh. Both are residents of Monga and 24 cases are registered against them. The court had sent both of them on two-day remand. During interrogation, the accused told that they had hidden weapons at a place on the road adjacent to the dirty drain at Singhawala in Moga. When the police came to recover the weapons with both the accused, Sikandar fired three shots at the police from the hidden pistol. In the retaliatory firing, a bullet hit Sikandar’s leg. When Arun Handa tried to run away, the police caught him.
