NOB-Suryapet news: The Suryapet District Police Department continuously works for road safety and prevention of road accidents, as part of which it conducts patrols day and night and conducts strict inspections. Inspects road accident sites and takes preventive measures, and forms rural road safety committees. As part of this, on 22.11.2025 District SP Narasimha IPS along with Suryapet Traffic SI Sairam inspected the National Highway 65 New Agricultural Market Road Junction in Suryapet district center. The speed of vehicles, movement of people, road crossings, engineering defects, lighting arrangements, establishment of barricades, etc. were monitored. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the Suryapet District Police is constantly working to protect the people and is moving forward with determination to ensure public safety and prevent road accidents. He said that local people are mostly exposed to accidents at black spots. He appealed to the local people to be careful while crossing the roads at road accident sites. He said that CCTV cameras have been installed on national highways to control vehicles, and vehicles should be driven with speed control and vehicles should not be parked anywhere along the roads. He said that 43 road accident prevention committees have been formed across the district to prevent accidents and that widespread awareness is being created among the people about road safety. He urged that precautions during travel and said every journey should reach its destination safely.
