NOB- ANakapalle news: A brutal incident took place in Lakshmi Nagar, a suburb of Venkunay Dupet in Narsipatnam Municipality of Anakapalle district. The incident of a father murdering his son under the influence of alcohol created a stir on 29.12.2024 morning. A retired army employee named Kothari Ramana killed his son Kothari Bhaskar by hitting him on the head with a stone. According to the details given by Town CI Govinda Rao, Kothari Ramana retired after working in the army. His wife died a long time ago. He has a daughter and a son. The daughter got married and lives in a different village in Narsipatnam. Son Bhaskar is living empty handed and is dependent on his father. However, for the past few years, there has been a dispute between the father and son caste over Bhaskar’s extravagant spending. On 28.12.2024 evening, Bhaskar came home after drinking alcohol outside with his friend. When he returned home, Bhaskar drank alcohol with his father and his friend. After the friend left at around 10 pm, a big argument broke out between the father and son. When the argument escalated between the two and a fight broke out, the father hit Bhaskar on the head with a stone in the house in anger. Bhaskar died on the spot. However, the father fell asleep, unaware of Bhaskar’s death. Since only the father and son were at home, the matter did not come to light until the maid came to check on him on 29.12.2024 morning. Based on the information given by the maid, the police arrested the accused Ramana. They reached the spot, registered a case and started investigating.
