NOB- Tamil Nadu news: Central authorities will begin a forensic investigation into the fire at Apple’s iPhone manufacturing plant, a Tamil Nadu state official said on 29.09.2024. A team of officials will reach the plant and investigate the cause of the accident. It is known that there was a fire on 28.09.2024 at the Tata Electronics factory in Tamil Nadu, which manufactures parts for iPhones. A fire broke out in the mobile phone accessories painting unit of this plant in Krishnagiri around 5.30 am on 28.09.2024. Seven fire engines immediately tried to douse the flames. Around 1,500 workers were on duty in the first shift when the incident took place. Two workers admitted to the hospital with injuries are likely to be discharged soon. The accident halted operations.
