NOB- Suryapet news: District SP Narasimha IPS held a press conference at the district police office on 11.03.2025 along with Additional SP Nageshwar Rao, Kodada Division DSP Sridhar Reddy, and Kodada Town Inspector Ramu to reveal the details of the Nandhu case. The SP said that A1 accused Malleda Venkata Vamsi and A2 Gokulamudi Anand from Andhra Krishna district, who were determined to bring ganja from the Andhra-Orissa border at a low price, make small packets and sell these packets to people addicted to ganja in Hyderabad to earn more money. They were going from Vijayawada to Hyderabad by bus along with A3 accused Threagudi Teja from Penamuru mandal of NTR Krishna district. In the middle of the way, i.e. at Durgapuram X Road on the outskirts of Kodad, they got off the bus and went to a mango orchard on the side of the road along with Sampath, Heman Narasimha Sai, Krishna Chaitanya and Bhaskar and gave them ganja to drink. On the basis of the relevant information, on 10-03-2025 at around 1 pm, Kodad Town SI Saidu caught them. The SP said that A1 Malleda Venkata Vamsi and A2 Gokulamudi Anand are absconding in this case. The SP said that police teams have been formed to arrest the two absconding accused. The value of the ganja is Rs. 1,00,000/- and the value of the five cell phones is around Rs. 60,000/-, the total value is estimated to be Rs. 1,60,000/-. The SP said that if the accused habitually commit such crimes in ganja related cases, they will be registered under the PD Act as part of social protection and will be in jail for a long time. The supply and consumption of ganja is a legal offence, and citizens and people should inform the police about this by dialing 100 or by informing the local police. The SP said that the details of those who give information will be kept confidential. The District Police Department is conducting awareness programs with the public to eradicate drugs and marijuana, and we are also educating students in educational institutions. The SP has asked the public and all citizens to participate in the eradication of marijuana and cooperate with the police.  The SP has congratulated the police officers, including Kodada Town SI S.K. Saidulu, SI Lingaiah, Head Constable B. Srinivas, V. Rama Rao, Constables Satish Naidu, Yella Reddy, S.K. Farid, Shiva Kumar and Nagendra Babu, and CI T. Ramu, who supervised the operation, for their work in apprehending the criminal.

A-3: Thragudi Teja Age: 21 years. Occupation: Car Technician, Penamalur Mandal NTR Krishna District.

A-4: Uddi Setti Sampath Kumar Age: 20 years. Occupation: Loan Officer in Tata Capital Micro Finance, NTR Krishna District.

A-5: Palaparthi Krishna Chaitanya Age: 21 years, Occupation: Apprenticeship work in L&T Company, Pamarru Mandal, NTR Krishna District.

A-6: Khaja Naga Veera Bhaskar Rao, Age: 23 years, Occupation: Apprenticeship work in L&T Company, Vijayawada (Urban), NTR Krishna District.

A-7: Ede Heman Narasimha Sai Age: 22 years. Occupation: Student, R/o Gudivada Village and Mandal, NTR District.

Absconding accused.

– A-1: ​​Malleda Venkata Vamsi of Pamarru Mandal, Krishna District and – A-2: Gokulamudi Anand of R/o Vanukuru Village, Penamalur Mandal, Krishna District are absconding.
