NOB- Rangareddy news: Former MLA Konda Laxma Reddy (84) of Chevella constituency in Rangareddy district has passed away. He was undergoing treatment at the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad for some time and breathed his last at 5.30 am on 13.10.2025 morning. His last rites will be performed at the Maha Prasthanam in the city at 3 pm, family members said. He served in various capacities in the Congress. Laxma Reddy served as the APCC spokesperson and Grievance Cell Chairman in the united Andhra Pradesh state, along with many other key responsibilities. He lost from the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat in 1999 and 2014. With a passion for journalism, Lakshma Reddy started the local news agency NSS in 1980. He also served as the president of Jubilee Hills Journalists Cooperative Housing Society and Press Club of Hyderabad. It is noteworthy that Lakshma Reddy is the grandson of Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, who served as a minister in the united AP.
