
NOB- Telangana news: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed that girl’s schools be prioritised in the first phase of YIIRS, with a clear roadmap to complete one YIIRS each for boys and girls in every Assembly constituency within three years. Reviewing the Education Department at the Secretariat, the CM also asked officials to scale up breakfast and mid-day meals in all government schools through centralised kitchens (one for every two constituencies) and explore solar kitchens under PM-KUSUM. He instructed that 23 new school buildings in Greater Hyderabad be ready by the next academic year, ensured minimum 1.5 acres per school campus, ordered immediate curriculum revision (Classes I–X) aligned to future needs, and fast-tracked YIIRS construction bills. The CM also pushed for swift implementation of new polytechnic courses with Tata Technologies, completion of Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University works, and stressed that graduates from polytechnics and Young India Skills University must be job-ready.
