Hindi Diwas Celebrated Grandly by Hindi Forum : Kamareddy

NOB_Kamareddy: District Educational Officer (DEO) Mallikarjun said that it is the collective responsibility of everyone to spread the sweetness of the Hindi language to every individual in society.

He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the grand Hindi Diwas celebrations organized by the Hindi Forum, Kamareddy District, at Varalakshmi Gardens in Kamareddy.

Speaking on the occasion, he said Hindi is the most spoken language in the country and has gained immense importance as a language of public communication. He noted that Hindi, with its rich literary heritage, has gained global recognition as an ancient language, and the number of Hindi speakers is increasing day by day in many countries. He called upon everyone to embrace and learn Hindi.

Professor Explains Literary Values of Hindi

Prof. Vasala Vara Prasad, faculty member of Satavahana University, who participated as the distinguished guest, emphasized the need to introduce the sweetness of the Hindi language to society. Appreciating the services rendered by language scholars for the development of Hindi, he explained the values and glory embedded in Hindi literature.

‘Hindi Abhyasa Deepika’ Study Material Launched

On this occasion, the study material ‘Hindi Abhyasa Deepika’ prepared for Class 10 students by Narsimlu, Hindi teacher of Bibipet High School, was unveiled by DEO Mallikarjun.

Felicitation and Cultural Programmes

As part of the celebrations, students from various schools in the district presented captivating cultural programmes. The students enthralled the audience with Hindi songs, dance performances, skits and patriotic songs reflecting the greatness of Hindi language and Indian culture. The guests appreciated the talent of the students and lauded their interest in Hindi.

Senior Hindi Pandits from various mandals of the district were felicitated on the occasion. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of painting and essay writing competitions held as part of Hindi Diwas.

District Education officials Balaram, Neelam Lingam and Venu Sharma spoke and appreciated the Hindi Forum, stating that organizing Hindi Diwas on such a grand scale is a testament to the collective effort of the Hindi Pandits of the district.

The programme was attended by District Hindi Forum President Indrashekhar, General Secretary Sahendar Nath, Treasurer Vikram Kumar, Chief Advisors Narla Arun Kumar, Chintala Lingam, Ghafoor Shikshak, B.N. Giri, Gazelli Ramesh, Vamshidhar, Panchasheela, Narasimhulu, Laxman, Sudarshan, Shyam Kumar and a large number of Hindi Pandits, teachers and students.
