NOB- Delhi news:<\/strong> A week has passed since the beginning of the financial year 2024-25. New rules have come into force regarding EPFO. But if you are employed you will definitely have an EPFO account. In such situation this news will be useful for you. Whenever you change jobs you have to struggle to transfer your EPFO balance along with it. Many times the EPFO balance does not transfer for months. Now EPFO account holders do not need to manually request for PF account transfer when changing jobs. EPFO has launched automatic fund transfer facility. This facility became available from April 1st<\/sup> 2024. Earlier, employees had to submit a request for PF transfer despite Universal Account Number (UAN), but now there is no such thing. This made it easier for the employees. Now employees can look for a new job without having to face these difficulties. The money in the EPF account is automatically transferred when the new job is changed. But one thing should be noted here. Employees have to deposit 12 percent of their salary in EPF to transfer PF account. Besides, the employer also has to deposit an equal amount in the EPF account on behalf of the employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why UAN is required for PF online transfer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Universal Account Number (UAN) is the account number given to an individual by PF. Once this ID is taken, it will remain the same no matter how many jobs you change. Provides facility to link multiple EPF accounts to a single member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
