Corticosteroid methylprednisolone has shown significant decrease in risk of mortality rate in patients with ADRS ( Adverse Drug Reactions). Dexamethasone has given better results in recovery trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of 5 cases treated with corticosteroids, only 3 gave good results and rest of 2 doesn\u2019t show any benefit. All the 5 cases were critically ill patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This therapy is beneficial for patients with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Severe case on ventilator<\/li>
  2. Moderate case on supplemental oxygen therapy<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
