This proposal was done by BJP because of her contributions such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In 2015 she was the first woman Governor of Jharkhand.<\/li><li>She was elected as MLA in 2000 from Rairangapur as BJP candidate.<\/li><li>And also as BJP MLA from Mayurbhanj in 2009.<\/li><li>She joined BJP in 1997 as the Councillor of Rairangpur Nagar Panchayat.<\/li><li>She was the vice president of the Scheduled Tribes Morcha of BJP.<\/li><li>During the Biju Janta Dal coalition with the Bhartiya Janta Party in Odisha, she was the commerce and transport minister of the Odisha state.<\/li><li>Later, she was also the minister for the fisheries and animal resources development department.<\/li><li>She has a strong administrative experience with a downtrodden nature and committed to serve the society selflessly which makes her humble even she has lost her husband and two sons.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She is well known as Jharkhand\u2019s Governor and a politician who always served people with dedication.
