NOB-Nalgonda news:<\/strong> As part of the National Road Safety Month celebrations, the \u2018No Helmet No Petrol\u2019 rule will be strictly implemented across Nalgonda district from 07.01.2026, District Superintendent of Police Sharath Chandra Pawar, IPS, announced in a press release. According to this decision, clear instructions have been issued to all petrol bunks in the district not to supply fuel to two-wheeler riders who arrive without wearing a helmet, the SP said. He stated that petrol bunk owners and staff across the district have already been given clear guidelines regarding the implementation of this rule. In addition, counselling and awareness programmes have been conducted to educate two-wheeler riders on the importance of wearing helmets. The SP pointed out that a large number of fatalities in road accidents involve two-wheeler riders, and in many cases, the absence of helmets leads to severe head injuries resulting in loss of life. With this in view, the decision has been taken with the primary objective of reducing road accidents and saving lives. The district police appealed to every two-wheeler rider to consider their own safety as well as their family\u2019s future and to ride only after wearing a helmet without fail. The district police further stated that road safety can be achieved only with public cooperation and urged everyone to respect the law, follow traffic rules, and protect their own lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
