NOB_Julurpadu Police cracked the murder case of Indrapalli Harini, who was murdered on September 22 at Vengannapalem village in Julurpad mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

Kothagudem Sub-Division DSP Adinarayana revealed the details on Wednesday. He said the accused, Pawan Kumar, was arrested near Sitarama Canal surroundings in Julurpad mandal.

During interrogation, Pawan Kumar confessed to the crime. He said he developed grudge as Harini was rejecting his love and distancing from him, and killed her by strangulating her neck with a clutch wire.

A murder case has been registered against the accused and he is being sent to judicial remand, DSP said.
