
NOB- Karimnagar news: A meeting of the Development, Coordination & Monitoring Committee (Disha) of Karimnagar and Sircilla districts was held at the Karimnagar Collectorate Auditorium on 29.10.2025. Speaking at the meeting, the committee chairman and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that development work is being carried out irrespective of the parties by sanctioning a lot of funds for the development of Karimnagar parliamentary constituency. He said that anyone belonging to any party can give advice and suggestions for the development of the constituency. He said that the central government funds are the reason for the development of villages in the state. He revealed that development is possible only with the cooperation of the central and state governments. He said that MP funds of Rs. 851 crore have been allocated for the development of Karimnagar. He said that with the aim of providing modern facilities in government hospitals, necessary equipment is being installed in Huzurabad, Husnabad, Jammikunta and Sircilla hospitals and that appropriate staff and doctors should be appointed for that. He said that 15,000 bicycles have been provided free of cost to students studying in government schools and that they are ready to provide another 5,000 bicycles. He said that dropouts in government schools have reduced through this program. PM warned the officials that strict action will be taken if the funds are diverted to other programs. He suggested that toilets and basic facilities in government schools should be brought to his attention if necessary. He said that all the works sanctioned through MP funds should be completed on a war footing. He ordered to expedite the construction of the Ganneruvaram Bridge, the Karimnagar ROB sanctioned through the Central Setu Bandhan Scheme and other works. He suggested that all medicines should be made available in the government hospital. He revealed that he should submit an indent of medicines sufficient for the next four years and that funds would be provided. He said that Ayushman Bharat registrations should be completed quickly. He said that free tabs would be provided to Anganwadi teachers in Karimnagar Sircilla district for submitting daily reports. He said that people should be made aware of the various schemes introduced by the Central Government to increase the use of solar power. Speaking, MLC Malka Komaraiah of the Teacher’s Constituency suggested that toilets, electricity and other basic facilities should be provided in schools. During the field visit, it was revealed that many schools lacked basic facilities. He suggested that the salaries of staff in Kasturba schools should be increased and salaries should be paid regularly to the staff of the model school every month. He said that the authorities should take steps to bring them back to school by paying special attention to the students who have stopped their studies in between. Graduate constituency MLC Chinnamail Anjireddy said that there should be widespread awareness among the people about the central government schemes. He said that the center is spending a lot of funds in education, medicine and other sectors and implementing many welfare programs. He said that the authorities have the responsibility to create awareness at the village level so that people can take advantage of these schemes.
