NOB-Bangalore news:  The Mysore urban development land scam is creating a stir in Karnataka politics. Due to this, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is facing politically embarrassing situations. Recently Karnataka Governor Thavarchand Gehlot has taken a decision. On 17.08.2024 morning, the Governor gave approval to investigate Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the Muda land allotment scam. With this, the CM will face trial in this case. The Chief Minister’s Office disclosed that the information regarding this has been received. A few weeks ago, social activist and lawyer TJ Abraham filed a petition to the Governor seeking permission to prosecute CM Siddaramaiah in the case related to the land allotted to his wife BM Parvathi. The Governor took a key decision on this petition. He approved the inquiry against CM Siddaramaiah. CM Siddaramaiah expressed confidence that the Governor will reject the petition filed a few days ago seeking an inquiry against him.
