
NOB-Warangal news: Hasan Parthi and Telangana Anti-Drugs Warangal Police jointly arrested a ganja smuggler who was involved in smuggling ganja. Police seized 338 kg of ganja worth around 85 lakhs and the tractor used to transport the ganja from them. In relation to this arrest Warangal Police Commissioner Amber Kishore Jha, IPS disclosed the details that the accused Lakshmi Narayana (24) of Pathakota, Vairamavaram Mandal, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh State and another accused Narayana of Alluri Seetharamaraju District were arrested by the police. On the 17th of September 2024, at Natuguru of Chitarakonda Mandal, Odisha State, three hundred and thirty eight kg of ganja was converted into 96 packets, and to avoid any suspicion, a box was secretly installed in the bottom of the tractor trolley, and the ganja packets were hidden in the tractor from Dharakonda to Kama Reddy District, Bikanur. The information received by the police in order to reach the mandal, through Bhadrachalam, Mulugu, Hanumakonda, Siddipet, on 19.09.2024, as per the orders of the police officers, Hasan Parthi SI Devender Reddy conducted vehicle checks at Anantara Sagar Cross Road within the limits of Hasan Parthi Police Station, when the police checked a tractor coming suspiciously. The police found packets of ganja in a bin secretly arranged at the bottom, the police arrest the tractor driver who was involved in illegal transportation of ganja and the accused confessed to the crime. The person who told the accused to bring the ganja and the person who gave the ganja are currently absconding.
