NOB- Nirmal news: The minister was shocked to see the sad story of Durga in the media on 18.08.2024.Durga is a child from Beltaroda village, Tanur mandal, Nirmal district, who lost her parents and became an orphan. Tahsildar Lingamoorthy of Tanur Mandal, YMPDO Abdul Samad provided a financial assistance of Rs.1 lakh from the Prateek Reddy Foundation, which is being run in memory of his son. He promised Durga that he will provide for her studies. Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy who had a video call with the child assured her not to get discouraged and that he is there. He assured that he will send for her expenses every month and will also build a house for her to stay in. The minister said that he will meet the child soon.
