NOB- Suryapet news: On this occasion, SP Rahul Hegde IPS said that we have arranged strong police security for the conduct of elections in the district, we have arranged police arrangements at EVM strong rooms and counting centers as per the election rules, and we have checked the security of EVM strong rooms under all political parties. The SP explained to the observers the action plan for the allocation of personnel. He said that surveillance has been kept in the problem areas and the police personnel are working vigilantly. He said that they are strictly setting up integrated check posts at the inter-state and inter-district borders, preventing illegal transportation and looting during elections, seizing cash, liquor and valuable jewellery. They gave training to the police personnel on the administration of election services. They contacted the staff who are on duty on the polling day and coordinated all the staff according to the routes so that there is no coordination error. The election duties will be conducted without any untoward incident. The SP said that the arms personnel will be on duty at the election counting centers and EVM strong rooms. Later, District Election Officer Collector S.Venkatarao IAS said that security has been provided for the election materials and the personnel performing the duties in the election and suggested that armed personnel should be assigned as per the rules to ensure the security of strong rooms and counting centers. Election observers have given advice and suggestions that allocation of security personnel in areas with critical polling centers, communication system in duties and coordination between personnel on election duties are very important. Observers asked the police personnel to be vigilant to respond quickly to complaints from the public and any local incidents.
