NOB-Jogulamba, Gadwal new: Boya Rajanna, the Panchayat Secretary of Eklaspur village in Aiza Mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district, was caught by officials from the Anti-Corruption Bureau while accepting a bribe. The secretary had demanded Rs. 5,000 per bill in exchange for releasing funds which are sanctioned in four instalments for the construction of an ‘Indiramma’ house. The ACB DSP revealed that, after negotiating a settlement of Rs. 15,000 against the initial demand of Rs. 20,000, the secretary was caught red handed on 13.03.2026 while accepting the bribe amount within the premises of the MPDO office. The DSP further stated that Secretary Rajanna was arrested and subsequently produced before the ACB Court in Hyderabad.
