NOB- Tamil Nadu: The Arakkonam-Katpadi MEMU passenger train derailed in Tamil Nadu’s Ranipet district on 28.06.2025. Eyewitnesses said they heard a loud noise and the loco pilot immediately stopped the train. The accident took place shortly after the train left Chitteri station. It is reported that a part of the railway track broke during the derailment. Railway officials said that all the passengers are safe.
