NOB- Telangana news: Telangana politics is going to become interesting in the parliamentary elections. The parties are taking strategic steps with the assembly election results. New calculations are coming out to show power in the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress is expecting favourable results in the Lok Sabha elections as well. BRS is making plans to bounce back. At the same time, BJP is moving ahead with key decisions at the Telangana Centre.
Assembly battle in Telangana is over. The Lok Sabha election campaign is about to begin. BJP is preparing a new sketch with increased seats and votes in the assembly elections. BJP won four seats in Telangana in 2019 elections. But, after winning 8 seats in the latest assembly elections, BJP high command focused on Telangana. As part of that, it is taking steps towards a key decision to have an impact on the south including Telangana. Directly asked Prime Minister Modi to contest Lok Sabha from Telangana. BJP national leaders say that it has been agreed in principle that Narendra Modi will contest from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat.
The party leaders are predicting that by contesting from Malkajgiri, the BJP will come together across Telangana. Earlier there was a campaign that the Prime Minister would contest from Tamil Nadu. But, no official decision was taken. During the Telangana Assembly elections, Prime Minister Modi came to campaign several times. BJP is not in power in any state in South now. With this, it is expected that the current equations will come together in Telangana. Malkajgiri is considered as mini India. People of all states are voters there. In the 2019 elections, the current CM Revanth won as an MP from there.
It is being spread that some people from BRS are ready to join BJP if Prime Minister Modi contests. Excluding Telangana Lokhamm, Nalgonda, Mahabubabad and Bhuvanagiri parliamentary constituencies, BJP has focused on the remaining 13 constituencies. BJP leaders are taking steps with a big sketch to grow as an alternative party to Congress. The party’s strategy is to check both BRS and Congress by contesting Prime Minister Modi in Telangana. As part of that, BJP leaders proposed to the Prime Minister to contest from Malkajgiri. It is said that an official announcement will be made soon.
