NOB-Haryana news: In a shocking incident from Narnaund in Haryana’s Hisar district, a private school principal Kartar Memorial School was stabbed to death on 10.07.2025 morning, allegedly by two students. The victim, identified as Jagbir Singh Pannu, was the principal and operator of the school. According to the police, this happened after the principal scolded them for not cutting their hair. According to Superintendent of Police Amit Yashvardhan, the incident took place around 10:30 am, when police received information that Pannu had been attacked with a knife. Two teenage boys, reportedly students of Classes 11 and 12, have been named as the prime suspects. Both accused and the deceased hailed from the same village. Initial investigations suggest that the murder may have stemmed from the principal’s efforts to enforce discipline among students. Jagbir Singh Pannu was known for strictly questioning students who broke school rules. He reportedly insisted on proper uniform and appearance, regularly checking students to ensure they followed code of conduct, a responsibility considered standard for a school head. Police teams have launched a manhunt for the two absconding students and are conducting raids to locate them. One folding knife has been recovered from the scene, though the number of stab wounds inflicted will only be confirmed after the post-mortem report, which is currently being conducted in Hisar.
