NOB- Malakpet news: A brutal incident took place at Shaliwahan Nagar Park under the jurisdiction of Malak police station in Hyderabad. Four unidentified persons came in a car near Shaliwahan Nagar Park and opened fire on a man named Chandu Rathod and fled. Chandu Rathod lost his life on the spot. CPI leader Chandu Rathod was walking home in the morning on 15.07.2025 when his opponents shot him dead. The assailants threw pepper spray in the eyes of Chandu Rathod, who was walking with his friends. The assailants chased Chandu Rathod, who was running to escape from them, fired four rounds with a gun and fled in a Swift car. It is estimated that 5 people were involved in the murder. The primary reason for the murder is old enmity. Chandu Rathod, a resident of Achampeta in Nagarakurnool district, lives with his family in Chaitanyapuri. His hometown is Narsaipalli in Balmoor mandal of Nagarakurnool district. His parents live in Narsaipalli. It is learned that he has been living in Hyderabad for the past 30 years. It is also known that the CPI leader who shot and killed Chandu Naik was also a CPI leader. CPI ML leader Rajesh has been identified as the shooter. The police say that the land dispute between the two led to the shooting. They said that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
