NOB- Siddipet news: For the past few years, the criminal has been committing thefts day and night in the joint Medak district, joint Karimnagar district, joint Hyderabad district, joint Warangal and other districts and has served several prison sentences. Tirugulla Krishnamurthy Sharma, a resident of Rangadhampally Vighneshwar Nagar, is a priest. On 08.05.2025, when his wife Jyoti went to Hyderabad, Krishnamurthy Sharma went to Karimnagar for work and returned home at 5.00 pm, he found that the lock of the house was broken and the 1. (5) Tula gold large necklace, 2. (2) Tula gold necklace, 3. (2) Tula gold bead necklace, 4. (1½) Tula black bead necklace, which were hidden in the cupboard of the house, were stolen by some unknown thieves. Three Town Inspector Vidyasagar registered a case and started the investigation. The complaint about the whereabouts of the accused was that the movements of the accused were monitored using the CCTV cameras near the house and other technology. According to the information that the accused was coming to Siddipet on 12.08.2025. He came to sell gold at Siddipet BJR intersection and was standing with a bag. When questioned, the accused confessed to the crime he had committed. The accused was living with his parents in Kushaiguda Kapra and was studying in 7th  grade when he committed the theft along with his friends and was arrested by the Kushaiguda police and sent to the juvenile home on remand. Later, he turned to theft as his profession and registered about 80 cases of house theft in the jurisdiction of Kushaiguda, Alwal, Gajwel, Siddipet-I Town, Husnabad, Karimnagar-I Town, Karimnagar-II Town, Warangal University, Keesara, Jagdevpur, Jammikunta, Neredimate, Kharkhana, Subedari, Gouraram, Kukunoor Pally, Jawahar Nagar police stations and went to Cherlapalli, Chanchalguda, Warangal, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Sangareddy jails. 10.5 tola gold ornaments and a cell phone were recovered from the above accused. Siddipet ACP M. Ravinder Reddy congratulated Inspector Vidyasagar, SI Venkateshwarlu, staff Srinivas, Babu, Raju, Swami Srikanth, and Ramesh for their clever action in catching the accused and said in a statement that the reward will be presented soon by the Police Commissioner Madam. ACP Ravinder Reddy suggested that homeowners in towns and villages should install CCTV cameras. He said that many cases are solved through CCTV cameras. He suggested that one CCTV camera is equal to 100 policemen. We spend many lakhs to build houses and set up shops, but without thinking about 20 to 30 thousand rupees, we should definitely install CCTV cameras. There will be a sense of security through CCTV cameras. He said that the above accused was identified, caught and arrested through CCTV cameras.
