
NOB- Telangana news: SIT officials have intensified their investigation into the phone tapping affair, which has been shaking Telangana politics for some time. As part of this investigation, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has issued notices to former Chief Minister and BRS chief Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao. SIT officials went to KCR’s residence in Nandini Nagar, Hyderabad, and since he was not present, they handed over the notices to his staff. These notices were issued to KCR under Section 160 of the CrPC. The SIT officials stated in the notice that they will question KCR on 30.01.2026 at 3 PM. Meanwhile, SIT officials held an emergency meeting at the SIT office regarding KCR’s questioning. It is reported that they are preparing a list of questions to be asked during the interrogation. Officials are also discussing where the interrogation should take place (at his residence or at the SIT office). SIT officials are working on security measures and legal procedures related to the questioning.
