NOB_Bhadrachalam: The Sri Ganapati Navratri Mahotsavams organized by the Sri Vighneshwara Ganesh Utsav Committee at Bhagwan Das Colony in Bhadrachalam town are being celebrated with religious fervour.

As part of the celebrations, special pujas and a spiritual discourse were held on Thursday. Sri Shiva Naga Swamy from Chinna Arunachalam Sri Lalitha Parameshwari Sahita Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Ashtadasha Shakti Peetha Mahakshetram visited the Ganesh Mandapam and blessed the devotees.

Addressing the devotees, he spoke on the sanctity of Ganapati Mandapa Yatra, the importance of Bhagavan Nama Smarana, the values of Sanatana Dharma, and the need to follow virtues like Dharma, Bhakti, Seva and Satya for salvation. He said such Yatras instill unity, spiritual awakening and service attitude among people.

BJP Bhadradri Kothagudem District President Byreddy Prabhakar Reddy graced the occasion. The Utsav Committee members thanked Sri Shiva Naga Swamy and Byreddy Prabhakar Reddy for their presence.

Later, special pooja was performed to Lord Ganapati and cucumber was offered as Naivedyam.

Devotees, colony residents and committee members including Kethavarapu Ramakrishna, Sunnam Bhulakshmi, Vaddiparthi Hari Krishna, Kunja Dharma, Kunja Santhosh, Pulipati Subbalakshmi, Ramesh, Sai Kaushik, Latha, Sridevi, Veeramani, Nirmala, Veeramma, Srinu, Sudharani, Bhuvaneswari, Anjali, Kousalya, Swaroopa, Nagamani, Anitha, Sushila, Hansika, Yamini, Vani, Madhavi, Tulasi, Shakeela, Yamuna, Durga, Shivani, Varalakshmi, Ramadevi and a large number of women devotees participated in large numbers.
