NOB- Kolcharam news: Collector found that Kolcharam medical staff were absent from duty unofficially during a surprise visit. Collector took disciplinary action against Kolcharam health center staff for irresponsibility. Medical staff suspended during a surprise visit to Kolcharam Primary Health Center. Orders issued by District Collector Rahul Raj. The blood test room, medicine dispensing room, inpatient ward, beds, toilets, vaccination in Kolcharam PHC were inspected. They asked how many patients were coming to the hospital every day. The stock details were checked in the medicine store room in the hospital and the expiry dates of the medicines were checked. The Medical Officer was directed to inspect the hospital premises and take steps to keep them cleaner and to remove the scrap immediately. Collector Rahul Raj took action on 11.09.2025 by suspending three employees who were found negligent in signing the attendance register and were absent from duty. During a surprise visit by the District Collector, the following employees of Kolcharam PHC in Medak district were observed to be absent from duty without any information, prior permission or any leave granted by the undersigned in the attendance register. The Collector expressed his anger over their unauthorized absence from duty even though they were present in the attendance register. After conducting a preliminary inquiry, he directed the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) DR. Sriram to suspend the employees immediately.
