NOB-Saifabad news: On credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team, along with Saifabad PS staff, conducted an operation near IMAX open ground under Saifabad PS limits and apprehended (03) drug peddlers identified as: Mohd. Gulam Jilani,Suleman Khan,Feroz Bin Ali @ Sahil. The accused were found suspiciously moving during late night hours and were engaged in illegal procurement and supply of Brown Sugar and Dry Ganja. The team seized (100) grams of Brown Sugar, (1350) grams of Dry Ganja, (07) mobile phones, and (01) Honda Motorcycle TS15 EH 46**, all worth approximately Rs. 23,50,000/-.

Details of the Accused:

Mohd. Gulam Jilani, 42 yrs, Pvt. Job, R/o Medchal, native of Jharkhand.

Feroz Bin Ali @ Sahil, 20 yrs, Unemployed, R/o Attapur.

Suleman Khan, 22 yrs, A/C Technician, R/o Attapur.

Case Facts: During interrogation, Feroz and Suleman admitted to procuring Brown Sugar from Jilani at Rs. 5,000/- per gram and selling it to consumers for Rs. 8,000–10,000/- per gram. They further confessed to selling (03) grams of Brown Sugar to one Mohd. Ahmed on 04-11-2025, who subsequently died due to drug overdose. A case was registered in Cr. No. 1205/2025 U/S 194 BNSS at Rajendranagar PS, Cyberabad.Jilani confessed to engaging in drug peddling due to financial constraints. Four months ago, he came into contact with one Afsar, R/o Odisha, who facilitated procurement. In October 2025, Jilani travelled to Odisha and, along with Afsar, procured 115 grams Brown Sugar and 1350 grams Dry Ganja for Rs. 3.5 lakhs. He supplied (15) grams to Suleman and Feroz with instructions to sell at Rs. 8,000–10,000 per gram, offering them a commission of Rs. 2,000–3,000 per gram.The apprehended individuals and seized property were handed over to SHO Saifabad PS for further action said Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath, IPS,Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad.
