Through CEIR portal, 220 mobile phones were recovered

NOB-Badradri Kothagudem news:  District SP Rohit Raju IPS informed that the mobile phones of the victims who lost their phones in all the police stations across the district will be recovered through the CEIR portal and returned to them. He said that the mobile phones lost by the victims will be traced based on the complaints received through the CEIR portal in all the police stations across the district. On 11.12.2024, 220 victims who lost their mobile phones in the last November month 2024 were handed over their phones at the district SP office. He informed that if the victims who lost their mobile phones immediately register all the details asked for online in the CEIR portal, their mobile phones will be tracked back from the concerned police station. Therefore, he said that if anyone gets their mobile stolen or lost, they can immediately get their mobile phones back through the CEIR portal. If they can lodge a complaint by entering the details of their lost mobile phone through the portal, then such phones can be easily traced. He said that such a mobile can be traced only when a third party tries to use the lost mobile phone. On this occasion, the SP congratulated the district police officers and staff who worked hard in finding and returning the mobile phones of the victims. Later, he presented them with certificates of appreciation.
