NOB_Bhadradri Kothagudem: Tudum Debba leaders have demanded a comprehensive high-level inquiry into the death of tribal Gollishetti Nagu from Jammigudem village in Aswaraopet mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

Tudum Debba leader Bandari Suryanarayana demanded legal and departmental stringent action against police officials responsible for his death. He demanded a transparent inquiry by a high-level committee or an IG-rank officer into the case.

He demanded that SC/ST Atrocity cases along with relevant sections be booked against those who harassed Nagu and they should be suspended immediately. The government should pay adequate ex-gratia and support the bereaved family.

He demanded immediate stop to police harassment and filing of illegal cases against tribals and weaker sections in agency areas.

He warned that if the government and top police officials fail to do justice to the victim’s family, agitation will be intensified under the aegis of Adivasi associations.
