NOB_ Twelve people arrested in a murder case

NOB- Shahalibanda news: The Shahalibanda Police have arrested twelve individuals in connection with a murder and attempt to murder case that occurred on the night of June 18 to 19, 2024. This incident took place in the Shahalibanda area and involved notorious local rowdy elements. On the night of June 18, 2024, a dispute over money at the Fancy Chicken Center in Mecca Colony, Shahalibanda, escalated into a violent altercation. The conflict, initially between Mazar and Sohail, rapidly drew in multiple participants. During the brawl, Wajid was attacked by a group of assailants. His brothers, Sajid and Khadeer, rushed to the scene to assist him but were also assaulted with knives. In the midst of this violence, Syed Faqruddin (alias Rafeeq or Shimlan), who was passing by near Fatima Hospital, was fatally stabbed by Mohammad Asad and his associates, Hussain Pasha (alias Ashu) and Mohammed Subhan Khan.

The arrests were made under the direction of Rashmi Perumal, IPS, DCP Task force, Shaik Jahangir, Addl. DCP, South Zone, A. Srinivas Rao, Addl. DCP, Task force and Ch. Chandra Sekhar, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Chatrinaka Division. The operation was executed by a team led by S. Ravi Kumar, Inspector of Police, PS Shahalibanda and Task Force teams, with the support of Officers S. Seshu, K. Janaiah, and constables K. Murali, L. Srikanth Rao, G. Saibaba, and V. Purushotham. This swift and effective action has been commended by Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, South Zone.

With respect to the recent incidences & bodily offences in our area it has been observed that Shop & Restaurants owners are running their business beyond the permitted hours, despite instructions by government all such establishment owners are advised to close establishments as per government regulations otherwise necessary legal actions shall be taken against them. Since there has been a repeated violation of government rules we have to tighten the grip & focused patrolling, vehicle checking and Disarming operations are being conducted we have booked cases against people found in possession of arms, those using vehicle without number plates, consuming & possessing narcotic substances. It’s a request to parents & family members to make their children to abide by rules & not engage in rowdyism & illegal activities. Hence forth there will be zero tolerance against any activity which disturbs peace & creates law & order issues. So, its request to all to abide by the law says Sneha Mehra, IPS, Dy.
