NOB- Rajasthan news: A woman named Mona has completely fooled the police. She created fake documents to show that she was selected as a sub-inspector. She received training at the Police Academy for two years. She took photos with IPS officers. She made reels. She played tennis with the ADG. However, no one realized that she was a fake. Finally, the other trainees expressed suspicion and the woman went into hiding. This incident took place in BJP-ruled Rajasthan. Mona Bugalia, a resident of Nimba Ke Bas village in Nagaur district, did not qualify the Sub Inspector recruitment exam in 2021. However, she created fake documents under the name ‘Mooli Devi’. She spread the word on social media that she had been selected as a Sub Inspector. She joined a special WhatsApp group related to SI recruitment. She introduced herself as a candidate from the previous batch through sports quota. She entered the Rajasthan Police Academy. Meanwhile, Mona Bugalia alias Mooli Devi trained as a trainee SI at the Rajasthan Police Academy for two years. She was seen in the parade grounds in uniform and participated in rehearsals. She also roamed freely in the restricted areas of the Police Academy. However, no one recognized her as a fake trainee SI On the other hand, in 2023, some trainee SIs expressed doubts about Mona Bugalia’s identity. They informed senior police officers about her. This led to an internal investigation. In this context, a case was registered after it was revealed that she was undergoing training as an SI at the Police Academy with a fake identity. Meanwhile, Mona, who had been absconding since 2023, was arrested by the police in Sikar district. A search was conducted at the rented house where she lived. Rs. 7 lakh cash, three special police uniforms, exam papers from the Rajasthan Police Academy, and fake documents used for false identification were seized.
