
NOB-Punjab news: 5-year-old Teghbir Singh from Ropad town in Punjab has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. He created a record as the youngest Asian to climb this mountain. Before Teghbir Singh, the record was held by Ojjen Djekovic (age 5) of Serbia. Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is 19,341 feet tall. Teghbir Singh’s father Sukhinder Deep Singh also climbed this mountain with his son. Both father and son started climbing the mountain on August 18th 2024 and completed it by August 24th 2024. Came back down on August 25th 2024.
