NOB- Delhi news: The Central Government has announced the 69th National Film Awards for the year 2021. Before announcing the winners of the 69th National Film Awards, I&B Additional Secretary Neerja Shekhar told the media that a total of 280 films in 28 languages and 158 non-feature films in 23 languages were considered. The award went to Purushottamacharyu (Telugu) in the Best Film Critic category. ‘Uppena’ has been selected as the best Telugu film for the year 2021. Allu Arjun (Pushpa-1) won the National Best Actor (Telugu).

The harvest of the 69th National Film Awards for Telugu films is ripe. Telugu films won a total of 10 awards. The film ‘RRR’, which has already won an Oscar, received awards in the categories of Stunt Choreography, Background Score, Male Singer, Choreography, Special Effects etc. Allu Arjun won the best actor award for Pushpa.
