NOB- India news: Indian shooters once again showed their strength in the ISSF World Championship.

While Amanpreet Singh won gold for India in men’s 25m standard pistol event, Tiana, Yashita Shokeen and Kritika Brundham won bronze in women’s 25m standard pistol event. Apart from that, India stood second in the medal table with a total of 5 golds and 4 bronzes in this mega event.

China has won 13 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals and continues to be at the top. On the other hand, America secured the third position with 4 golds, one silver and one bronze.

Amanpreet Singh (577) topped the shooting points in the men’s individual 25m standard pistol event here on 23.08.2023 to give Bharat his 5th gold medal.

Korean shooter Lee Guneok, who scored three points less than Aman, took the silver with (574).
