Regeneron a New-York based company with making monoclonal antibodies for COVID-19 has reported that an invivo efficacy in Rhesus macaques and Golden hamsters.

In Rhesus macaques ( Rhesus Monkey) the lower and upper airways COVID virus load was decreased when REGN-COV-2 is given. Similarly weight loss and lung infection was reduced in hamsters as published in “REGN-COV-2 antibodies prevent and treat SARS-COV-2 infection in Rhesus macaques and hamsters.”

These antibodies are of 2 potent neutralizing antibodies ( REGN10987 + REGN10933) which targets non overlapping epitopes on the SARS-COV-2 spike protein. And has got result that REGN-COV-2 can completely block virus infection.
