Nowadays changing lifestyle and stress has increased the female related problems like irregular periods and due to this fertility rates are decreasing also leading to fibroids in uterus, PCOs, endometriosis etc., Though it is difficult to have a stress free life these days but a little concentration and changes in diet with some healthy tips can help in relieving these ailments. Here we are going to discuss some of the home remedies which are easy and effective in regularizing periods.
Fennel:
Fennel seeds and leaves are good remedy to get regular periods .These seeds help in relieving menstrual cramps also.
Directions of use:
Take two teaspoon full of fennel seeds and soak them overnight in water, drink that water next day morning after filtering. It should be done till periods regularize.
Papaya:
Semi ripe papaya is also a wonderful remedy to get regular periods. But be cautious not to eat it during periods.
Cinnamon:
Cinnamon is one of the great gift as natural spice which is rich in antioxidants and also a good period regulariser.
Directions of use:
Powdered cinnamon should be taken with warm milk every day once. This powder can also be sprinkled on foods we eat and it will definitely regularize periods.
Turmeric:
Turmeric is called miracle spice which helps in relieving many gynecological problems of women.
Direction of use:
1/4th teaspoon turmeric should be mixed in one glass of milk and should be taken once in a day.
This will regularize periods.
Cumin:
Regularly consume overnight soaked two teaspoons of cumin in a glass of water on empty stomach early in the morning.
Ginger:
Ginger is very commonly used in food preparation and is having very good health benefits.
Direction of use:
In one cup of water, add fresh ginger and boil for five minutes. Then filter it and add some honey to it and drink every day after meals to get regular periods.
Yoga:
Stress also causes irregular periods. So to relieve stress yoga and meditation has to be practiced.
