NOB-Uttar Pradesh news:  The incident of live streaming of a video from jail by a prisoner who is facing punishment in a murder case has created a stir.The police found that this video was broadcast from Bareilly Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh. It was said that the prisoner named Asif had done the streaming through social media.In the two-minute video, ‘Jail is like heaven, Enjoying life here. He commented that he will come out soon. From 2019, Asif is serving sentence in the case of killing a contractor named Rakesh Yadav.

Criticism is being expressed on the performance of the staff there as the phone is received by the prisoner who is serving sentence in the jail. As this video went viral on social media, Rakesh’s brother filed a complaint with the District Magistrate. In the complaint, he stated that the prison authorities were providing special facilities to Asif against the rules. The District Magistrate has issued instructions to the authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation.UP Prisons Department DIG Kuntal Kishore reacted to this incident. We are investigating the incident of video live streaming from Bareilly Jail. The investigation will reveal who gave the phone to the prisoner serving sentence. He said that we will take legal action against those responsible for this.
