NOB- NASA news: The ongoing quest to unravel the never ending mysteries of the universe is not new, scientists have been conducting research on many topics for decades. They are still trying to find another planet with Earth-like life. But there is no scientific evidence that there is a planet like Earth anywhere. But recently, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has identified planets with many features similar to Earth through the James Webb Telescope.
NASA scientists say they have found preliminary evidence that a planet in the far reaches of the galaxy may have life on it. But this newly identified red dwarf star has been given the name K2-18b. But the researchers say there is also a need for a more thorough examination of the full range of data. According to data obtained by the James Webb telescope, the star K2-18b has traces of dimethyl sulfide (DMS), which scientists say can only be produced by life. This strengthens the arguments that there is a possibility of life there. Meanwhile, this new star (K2-18b) detected by the James Webb telescope is 124 light-years away from Earth and scientists estimate that it will take more than 22 million years to reach here.
