
NOB- Suryapet news: Korapati Narsingarao and Bata Prasad, two of them, rent cars together and drink alcohol with the driver on the way. When the driver gets intoxicated, they steal cars. When the driver stops the car and bike for necessities on the way, they ask for a lift and steal the vehicles. In this way, they steal 2 cars and 4 bikes. On 16-11-2024, Marru Venkateswara Rao, age: 56 years, Occ: Agriculture, came to Suryapet town PS and on 27.10.2024, while going to his daughter who is studying in Vijayawada in his car, at about 13.30 hours, when he reached the new bus stand in Suryapet town, three unknown people asked for a lift. He gave them a lift. They talked to him and also exchanged phone numbers. They reached Vijayawada at about 18.00 hours. He parked his car in the starting position to buy something to eat for his daughter. After buying the food, when he returned to his car, the car was not visible. He immediately searched for his car in the surrounding areas but could not find it. When he called the people who asked for a lift, it was switched off. He filed a complaint on 16.11.2024, requesting that appropriate action be taken as per the law in this matter due to his illness. On the complaint, a case has been registered in Suryapet II Town PS Cr No. 517/2024 U/s 318(4), 303(2) BNS and the Suryapet Town Inspector of Police is investigating the case. On 18/12/2024, while the vehicles were being handed over to him, two persons were seen roaming suspiciously and when questioned, they confessed to stealing the vehicles. They confessed that they had rented cars and drunk alcohol with the driver on the way and that they were stealing the cars when the driver got intoxicated. They also confessed that they were stealing the parked bikes with fake locks or by breaking the locks. A total of four bikes, namely an Ertiga (TS 29 G 9459), an Innova (AP 05 TG 2377), Splendor, Unicorn, Pulsar, and Activa, were seized from them and the accused were sent to remand. Accused Prasad had 2 previous cases in Visakhapatnam.

Suryapet 2nd Town Police seized 12 bikes from a thief, arrested and remanded the thief
Gunaganti Mahesh Venkanna, a student from Atmakur Mandal, age: 22 years, came to write an examination at Spandana Degree College in Suryapet town on 07.12.2024 and parked his Passion Plus bike in front of the college. After the examination was completed, he came to his bike at 5 pm and found that the bike was missing and that his bike was not found in the surrounding areas. He complained to Suryapet Town 2nd PS on 16-12-2024. He did not immediately complain to the PS due to his personal work. The complainant requested that legal action be taken against those who stole his bike and justice be served. In this regard, a case was registered in Suryapet II Town PS. Cr No. 557/2024 U/s 303(2) BNS and the Suryapet II Town Police investigated the case. As part of the investigation, on. 18-12-2024, Suryapet Town Inspector of Police & his staff caught a person under suspicious circumstances while he was towing vehicles at the new bus stand. On interrogation, it was found that he was Gunja Srikanth, aged 23, a resident of Huzurnagar. On interrogation, he confessed to stealing vehicles parked near colleges and hospitals by using fake plates. 12 bikes in 12 cases were seized from him and the accused was sent to remand. The SP congratulated DSP Ravi, who supervised these cases, Suryapet Town Inspector Veera Raghavulu, SS Anjaneyulu, Edukondalu, Kushalava, Saidulu, and technical staff Karnakar, Krishna, Shiva, Sudhakar, Ravi, and Madhu, who worked well in the investigation, and presented rewards.
