NOB-Yadadri District news:  An explosion took place on 04.01.2025 at the Premier explosives factory in Peddakandukur, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District. One person died in the incident. Eight others were injured.Among the injured, a worker named Prakash is in critical condition. He has been shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. The deceased worker has been identified as Kanakaiah. The workers injured in the incident have been shifted to nearby hospitals.The accident took place at 9:30 am on 04.01.2025. There were 18 workers on duty in the shift at the time of the accident. The time of the explosion was the time for the workers to have breakfast. With this, all the workers came out. This averted a major accident. Prakash and Kanakaiah, along with two others, were working in the block where the explosion took place. The fire started in this block first. The workers of the company were evacuated immediately after the accident. The police have made heavy security arrangements at the company.The cause of the accident is being investigated. The labor unions have alleged that such accidents are frequent at the Premier Explosives company. They say that precautionary measures are not being taken to prevent accidents.
