NOB- Mahabubabad news: Mahbubabad District She Teams SI Sunanda and Child Welfare Committee Chairman Dr. Nagavani said that the role of drivers is crucial in eradicating child trafficking. On April 11, 2025, an awareness seminar was organized on the topic of the role of drivers in eradicating human trafficking under the FMM Social Service Organization Warangal under the chairmanship of the Director Sister Assistant of the organization at Mudiraj Bhavan in Mahabubabad town. Dr. Nagamani, who was the chief guest at the event, spoke about the many atrocities being committed against children under the age of 18, the children being subjected to various forms of violence, and if proper care is not taken for the children who have been subjected to violence, there is a possibility of being trafficked. In particular, traffickers are choosing many ways to traffic children. For this, private vehicles are being arranged to transport the victims. However, since auto drivers, cab drivers, lorry and bus drivers are constantly on the roads, it is necessary to keep an eye on such suspicious persons who are illegally transporting women and children from one area to another. If you come to know such information, you should immediately inform the police on 100 or Child Line 1098. She Teams SY Sunanda, who attended the program, thanked Mahabubabad SP Sudhir Ramnath Kekan IPS for inviting her to such a program. In her address to this program, she said that since some drivers are involved in crimes against children, such awareness programs are necessary to prevent anyone from committing such crimes. However, since the people who commit crimes are mostly addicted to marijuana and alcohol, such crimes are committed more often. She advised drivers to stay away from intoxicants. She also said that it is your responsibility to take passengers to their destination safely, as they trust you. If anyone is harassing children, they should immediately inform She Teams number 8712656935 and dial 100 or Child Helpline number 1098.
