NOB- Karnataka news: Due to shameful mismanagement by both the Karnataka government and stadium authorities, the gates of Chinnaswamy Stadium were not opened on time, leading to panic and chaos. The crowd, overwhelmed and desperate, broke through the gates triggering a deadly stampede. As of now, 7 lives have been lost, and many more are critically injured. This is not an accident, this is criminal negligence. The Chief Minister and Home Minister must take moral responsibility and resign immediately for their failure to ensure basic crowd control and public safety. How many more lives need to be lost before accountability is enforced?
