NOB- Uttar Pradesh news: A sensational incident has come to light in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. On the occasion of Bakrid, Ismuhammad Ansari committed suicide by cutting his throat with a weapon called a bhujali, which is used to slaughter goats. The people of the area were shocked by this incident. The police recovered a suicide note from the scene. In it, Ismuhammad wrote sensational things. He said that he was sacrificing himself in the name of the Messenger of Allah. He wrote that no one had killed him. The suicide note reads as follows. “A man raises a goat like his own child and sacrifices it. It is also a living being. We have to sacrifice ourselves. I am sacrificing myself in the name of the Messenger of Allah.” He also explained through the note how to design his tomb. On the other hand, the deceased’s wife, Hazra Khatoon, said that her husband was possessed by demons and that he often visited the Azamgarh Dargah. She said that he had returned from the Dargah three days ago. On 07.06.2025, she said that he had lit incense and performed tantra mantras at his house and suddenly died covered in blood. She said that a bhujali (sharp weapon) was lying nearby. She immediately informed Dial 112. The police sent the injured to Deoria Medical College and then to Gorakhpur Medical College. He died while receiving treatment there. Speaking about the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Arvind Kumar Verma said, “The initial investigation has revealed that Ansari inflicted the injuries himself. We are investigating from all angles.”
