NOB_CM urges Bristish companies to join Musi river rejuvenation project

NOB- Telangana news: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged British companies to partner in the Musi Riverfront Rejuvenation Project, being taken up on a grand scale to position Hyderabad as one of the best living cities in the world. An official delegation led by British High Commissioner to India, Lindy Cameron met the Chief Minister on 18.09.2025. The CM highlighted Telangana’s path-breaking initiatives to strengthen manufacturing and attract global investments, and appealed for UK investments in Pharma, GCC, EV sector, and Future City development. Responding positively, Lindy_Cameron said the UK Government is ready to extend cooperation in Education and Technology. The CM revantha reddy   also shared the draft of the new Telangana Education Policy, highlighting key reforms and opportunities for collaboration. The High Commissioner further announced that the prestigious Chevening Scholarships will be extended to meritorious students from Telangana on a co-funding basis. They also expressed readiness to facilitate training programmes for government teachers and professors in the state. The Chief Minister requested facilitation for UK universities to operate from Hyderabad, benefitting Telangana students pursuing higher education in the United Kingdom. Also present were Deputy High Commissioner Hyderabad, Gareth Wynn Owen, Political Economy Advisor Nalini Raghuraman, CM’s Special Secretary Ajit Reddy, and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.
