NOB-Medak news: ACB officials conducted raids at the Transco office in the Medak district headquarters on 30.10.2025. A person from Sitanagaram village of Papannapet mandal had set up a poultry farm. DE Mohammed Sharif Khan demanded a bribe of Rs. 40 thousand to provide electricity connection to it. When the victim persisted, he agreed to take Rs. 30 thousand. He has already given Rs. 9 thousand. Later, the victim informed the ACB officials. In this context, on 30.10.2025, while accepting a bribe of Rs. 21 thousand, ACB officials caught DE Mohammed Sharif Khan red handed. Later, searches were conducted in the office.
