NOB-Khammam news: A brutal incident took place in Chintakani mandal of Khammam district. CPM senior leader and farmer’s association leader Samineni Rama Rao was murdered. On 31.10.2025 morning, assailants slit the throat of Rama Rao, who had gone for a morning walk in Patharlapadu, Chintakani mandal. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and inspected it. An investigation was launched into the reasons for the incident. Three days later, when his granddaughter was getting married, Rama Rao’s family was devastated by the murder. Rama Rao served as a CPM state committee member, state secretary of the farmer’s association, and village sarpanch of Patharlapadu in the united Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka expressed shock over the murder of Samineni Rama Rao. He warned that the culprits will be hunted down and punished according to the law. He said that there is no place for dirty politics of violence in the state. He warned the district police to maintain law and order. He ordered the use of all means including clues team, sniffer dogs, cyber team and modern technology to arrest the assailants immediately. Senior leader Samineni expressed his deep sympathy and condolences to the family of Rama Rao. He assured that he will support the family of Rama Rao in every way and will provide full support.
