Later, India chased down the huge target of 339 runs in 48.3 overs for the loss of 5 wickets and registered a remarkable victory. The pair put on a partnership of over 180 runs and took the team to the edge of victory. Despite Ashlyn Gardner (63) playing aggressively in the end, the Aussies were all out due to the final blows of the Indian bowlers.
