NOB-Hyderabad news: In Cr. No. 105/2026 U/s 118(1), 103(1) r/w 3(5) BNS of PS Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, the police have successfully detected a murder case relating to the death of Mohammed Salman (23), a plumber and resident of Kandikal Gate, who succumbed to injuries on 27.03.2026 while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital. Four accused persons involved in the offence have been apprehended. As per the investigation, the incident occurred on the intervening night of 22/23.03.2026 when the victim, while returning home after attending a Ramzan gathering, was attacked by the accused due to a prior grudge. The main accused assaulted him with a knuckle duster, while others attacked with a stone and by physical force, causing grievous injuries. The victim was shifted to hospital, where he later expired. During the course of investigation, on 27.03.2026 at about 15:30 hrs, the accused were apprehended near Falaknuma Railway Station while attempting to flee.  The case was worked out under the supervision of ACP Chandrayangutta A. Sudhakar and SHO R. Gopi, with the efforts of SI S. Chandra Reddy, SI Srinivasa Rao, and staff. Further investigation is in progress.
